Sharni was an Australian and American actor. Born in Sydney, the capital of Australia on 22nd July, 1983. In 2001, Sharni Vinson was selected to appear in two episodes of the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. In that small role, her acting was such that the director of casting wanted to cast her in every role. She was however rejected for the role. Thus, on the exact same show Cassie Turner was chosen to portray a teenage troubled child living in a foster care. Both critics and fans alike have praised her role.
