Coleman was awarded the TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat revealed at a Doctor Who Press Conference on March 21st, 2012 that Coleman was set to portray Matt Smith as the Doctor's Companion following the departure of Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and other actors left the show. Moffat stated that he picked Coleman for the role of companion because she could work best with Smith. Also, Moffat noted that she talked faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she has worked in film and television projects. However she has been more well-known on television as opposed to films. Out of all the characters Eva has appeared in on television shows like Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and Detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two which stand out. Her first TV role earned two Daytime Emmy nominations, and helped her develop her passion for music. Eva isn't just an actor, but also a businesswoman and philanthropist. She has been married three times and has a daughter with her second partner.
