Hayley Orrantia is she is an American singer-songwriter and actress. Many people recognize the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy The Goldbergs' TV show. Her primary focus is as an actor. She maintains that music is her primary passion. It is something she was experimenting with since she was nine years old. As she grew to 12 old, music became seriously enough that she began professional training. She began songwriting when she was 13, and she was just 14 when she made her first collection of cover songs. From that moment on, she has never ever looked back. Orrantia was born in the USA and yet she holds Hispanic roots. She is a native of Hispanic roots even though she spoke English when she was a kid and lived her life in the USA. To keep her heritage alive she's enrolled in Spanish. Also, she writes songs using the Spanish language. She has recorded an Spanish version of the song called 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia appeared in The X Factor season 1's auditions in the summer of 2011. Orrantia got 4 "yeses" by the panel of judges on the Seattle live audition stage after being selected from her YouTube video submission. Her initial audition was to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a solo artist. But, three other women singers and she were brought together for auditions of for the remaining songs. The group was eliminated at end of the fifth show.
